NEW at the ESCRS 2016: The OCULUS Corvis® ST combines tonometry and pachymetry with the biomechanical response of the cornea in a new and exciting way. It is the first instrument enabling ophthalmologists to perform fast and comprehensive screenings for biomechanically weak corneas. Furthermore, the integration of Pentacam® data allows combining biomechanical and tomographic data for a more efficient and safer screening prior to refractive surgery.
OCULUS invites ophthalmologists to attend the Lunch Symposium at ESCRS Copenhagen on Saturday, 10th September 2016, 13 – 14 h at the Bella Center in Copenhagen and visit booth C200 in the exhibition area. Click here for more details.

On Saturday, 23rd April 2016, the SECSA from Ecuador invited to a webinar on “The new applications of Pentacam® AXL for Cataract Surgery” in Spanish. The webinar was organized by Dr. Viteri (Ecuador) in coordination with Dr. Joaquín Fernández (Spain). Both OCULUS and the regional distributor (ANDREC Corporation) will donate to the project LifeStraw that provides water filters to the victims of the recent earth quake in Ecuador.
Due to the great interest the attendance reached record numbers and the capacities of the system were exceeded. Good news for Ophthalmologist who could not attend: the recording of the webinar is available here.
Thank you to SECSA from Ecuador, Dr. Viteri and Dr. Fernández for their support!

On April 11 and 12 OCULUS Asia was privileged to be part of the opening ceremonies of dry eye clinics in two of Vietnam’s biggest eye hospitals. The clinics were initiated by Santen Vietnam, with the objective of increasing the hospitals capacity for dry eye diagnosis and individualizing treatment options for dry eye sufferers. Both Vietnam National Institute of Ophthalmology, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh Eye Hospital were equipped with OCULUS Keratograph 5M devices forming an integral part of their comprehensive dry eye evaluation routine. During the ceremonies OCULUS Asia was given the opportunity to address and demonstrate to doctors and residents the dry eye evaluation options of the Keratograph 5M. OCULUS would like to wish both clinics the very best in their future role in dry eye diagnosis, treatment and education of patients.
