The Pentacam® is a tomographer, generating a 3D image of the anterior segment of the eye and it is not tear film dependant. In only 2 seconds information regarding the anterior segment is derived aiding in contact lens fitting, glaucoma screening, corneal imaging, early keratoconus (ectasia) detection, keratoconus staging and various other functions.
