A Pentacam\u00ae scan takes 2 seconds to complete. However, eye movement can still occur during the 2 seconds while fixating. Apart from the Scheimpflug camera a second camera called the pupil camera is included. The function of the latter camera is to detect eye movement during the measuring process.
