The Belin ABCD keratoconus progression display, which is part of the standard Pentacam® software, now includes data to objectively evaluate progression after CXL treatment.
In a recent study, Prof Michael Belin (USA), Prof Farhad Hafezi (Switzerland) and Prof Berthold Seitz (Germany) evaluated a group of patients aged 11 to 66 years in a time span from 12 to 115 months after CXL treatment. The resulting confidence intervals have been integrated into the Belin ABCD Progression Display, allowing retrospective objective evaluation of corneal behaviour after CXL treatment.
The results were first presented at the CXL Experts’ Meeting 2020 and will be presented in summary as an electronic poster at the ESCRS Winter 2021.
Don’t miss the ESCRS Experts’ Round on 20 Feb, where Prof Michael Belin will present the new features of the Belin ABCD Progression Display.
