The brand-new BEST Display is now available for the Corvis® ST. Biomechanical assessment before refractive surgery has been essential since the introduction of the Tomographic Biomechanical Index. The new software includes novel features that open up the field for further clinical applications.

It enables you to analyze keratoconus progression, related to a baseline measurement. In addition, it can detect early sings of improvement after corneal crosslinking. Whereas topographic changes only occur after several months biomechanical changes can be measured with the Corvis® ST already four weeks after the procedure.

The BEST Display is the ideal solution for detecting and monitoring biomechanical changes over time. Please contact your local distributor if you want to get this new software.

At the end of December this year, the company Antonio Moutinho, Lda., will end its activity in the field of ophthalmology. For over 40 years, OCULUS has been represented in Portugal by the very company. OCULUS has joined the International Myopia Institute (IMI) in tackling myopia awareness and will support the IMI activities to advance the research of myopia to prevent future vision impairment and blindness.

It ranges from the 4 Maps Refractive over the Belin/Ambrósio Enhanced Ectasia Display to the Belin ABCD Staging and Progression Display including the objective assessment after the CXL treatment.
