As being the first imaging device for analysing corneal biomechanical properties of the cornea and IOP measurement, Corvis® ST attracted worldwide attention since it was introduced. After nearly one year of preparation, Corvis® ST received the CFDA certification for China and therefore the official approval for clinical and scientific research usage.
Due to constant research and development by OCULUS Optikgeräte GmbH, Germany, the software of the Corvis® ST has meanwhile been upgraded. The IOP and corneal thickness measuring functions improved, and measuring and processing speed increased significantly.
With increasing acceptance amongst the ophthalmic community, the OCULUS Corvis® ST opens a new chapter in the analysis and measurement of corneal biomechanical properties and IOP.
