OCULUS @ AAO in Orlando[25.11.11]
OCULUS attended the AAO 2011 in Orlando. At this meeting, OCULUS introduced the new Belin/Ambrosio display (BAD III) with improved results for Hyperopic eyes and the Cataract Pre-Op display. The Cataract Pre-Op display assists the cataract surgeons with the pre-op assessment of the corneal optical properties for the premium IOLs. It was developed in close collaboration with Prof. Naoyuki Maeda, MD and is part of the "Cataract" software package. The other unique upcoming features of the Pentacam® include the indices summary report, the corneal density evaluation and the user-friendly Help button available for all parameters, maps and values. Cataract Pre-OP Display: New Pentacam® display for cataract surgeons[11.11.11]
In collaboration with Prof. Naoyuki Maeda, Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan, OCULUS developed a display for a comprehensive evaluation of the anterior eye segment before cataract surgery.
